Ardbeg House Bed & Breakfast

The Quality Bed & Breakfast on the Isle of Mull

Brian and Iona Abnett have created a welcoming and comfortable 'home-from-home' for our bed and breakfast guests, since the year 2000.

'Nothing is too much trouble'.

Ardbeg House gardens

We have four letting bedrooms, three double rooms and a double/twin using zip-linked beds, sleeping two guests in each room.

All of our guest rooms have ensuite facilities with complimentary toiletries. Each bedroom has a T.V. with combined DVD player, all connected to Free Sat to offer good picture, sound quality and channel choice.

We also supply a mini-fridge, hairdryer, kettle and a plentiful amount of beverage making ingredients for guest use in each room.

Ardbeg House is situated on the edge of the character conservation village of Dervaig, in the North-West of the beautiful and enchanting Isle of Mull.

Full Scottish cooked breakfast

Ardbeg House is a large Victorian stone built house overlooking the village that has a well-stocked village store and off-license with Post Office, and the 'oldest inn on Mull' all within easy walking distance.

The house is set in an acre of garden grounds, which attract large numbers of different types of wildlife.

Brian and Iona strive to offer comfortable and welcoming accommodation, and we continue to offer high standards of hospitality, service and food.

The House benefits from a free, off road parking area for guest vehicles, please note that vehicles and their contents are parked at the vehicle owners risk.

Pets

We also welcome well socialised dogs, and request that guests keep their dogs on a lead whilst in the public areas of the house and garden, and also off the furniture. Guests can have their pets in their room at night, we limit the number of guest dogs to two.

Room 3

We regularly have tawny owls breeding in the owl box in the garden and multitudes of wild birds of different species breed here too.

There are regular sightings of wild red deer nearby and Brian has filmed/photographed otters very close by.

There have been a few sightings of white-tailed sea eagles flying over Ardbeg House. We often find slow-worms and common lizards in varied areas of the garden, and frogs and toads like the ponds in the garden, We try to offer wilder areas of the garden to encourage and protect local wildlife whilst maintaining a very beautiful garden environment.
